About the client
Kapsalon Zafer cuts hair for men, women, and children: from fades and beard care to advanced colouring techniques such as highlights and airtouch. Many customers come from Dieren and the surrounding area and are known by name.
Context
Challenge
This salon takes appointments by phone. Rather than forcing a complex booking flow, the site had to build trust and answer the key questions straight away: what they do, when they are open, and how to get in touch.
Approach
Our approach
We chose a compact one-page site: an atmospheric hero, a short story about the salon, treatments for men and women, Google reviews, and a contact block in which the phone number takes centre stage.

Design
Design
A light paper palette with dark espresso and a red accent taken from the logo. Playfair Display gives the headings a classic salon character, while Poppins keeps the body text calm and readable. The result feels warm and polished, fitting a trusted neighbourhood salon.
Development
Development
The website is built with Next.js and pre-rendered for fast loading. Reviews scroll in a calm, continuous strip that pauses on hover and respects reduced-motion preferences. An embedded Google Maps view shows the way to the salon.
Responsive
Responsive optimisation
On mobile, navigation collapses into a hamburger menu and treatments, opening hours, and contact details stack vertically. The call button is large and easy to tap, so booking from a phone takes a single tap.
